What is BSides Maine?

A community-built hacker conference focused on curiosity, hands-on exploration, and sharing real projects. Talks, workshops, hardware, reverse engineering, weird builds, and whatever else the community brings.

When and where is it happening?

When: June 5th 2027, 8am to 5pm
Location: Hannaford Hall, Portland Maine

Who can attend?

Anyone who’s curious. Hackers, makers, breakers, builders, students, professionals, hobbyists... all welcome. No credentials required.

Can I submit a talk or workshop?

We'll be back on June 5th, 2027. Keep your eyes out for our CFP later in 2026, or early 2027.

Will there be hands-on activities?

Definitely. Expect hardware hacking tables, informal demos, workshops, and show-and-tell from the local hacker community.

Are sponsorships available?

We'll have a call for sponsors in early 2027.

How can I volunteer?
